The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between social desirability, self-esteem and happiness among female high school students in the city of Joibar. This study was classified as a descriptive-correlational study in terms of method and fundamental in terms of purpose. The statistical population consisted of 778 female students, 247 of whom were selected through stratified random sampling using the Gregsey and Morgan table. The data collection tools were the Oxford Happiness Inventory (OHI) and the Cooper Smith Self-Esteem Inventory (SEI). The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between social desirability and both self-esteem and happiness variables. It was also found that social desirability has a significant relationship with all dimensions of self-esteem and happiness. According to the findings, among the happiness subscales, the greatest effect was related to life satisfaction and the least effect was related to control. In the field of self-esteem, the results also indicated that all four dimensions of self-esteem had a positive effect on social desirability, with the greatest effect observed for family self-esteem and the least effect observed for social self-esteem.
