Abstract
The aim of this study was to design and develop a model of school-related hardiness in the relationship between academic resilience and academic goal setting and the mediating role of school climate in high school students in Marivan. In terms of the applied purpose and the type of data collection, it was descriptive-correlational, which was based on structural equation modeling. The statistical population of the study was all high school students in Marivan. According to the statistical formula, the sample size was 288. In this study, simple random sampling method was used. The instruments studied were the Cole, Field, and Harris School Hardiness Questionnaire (2004), Marino and Smithson School Climate Scale (2016), Samuels Academic Resilience (2004), and Academic Goal Setting (Elliott and McGregor, 2001). The research findings were obtained using descriptive and inferential analysis, which showed that there is a significant relationship between the variables of academic resilience in school-related hardiness and the mediation of school climate in students. The path coefficient was 0.413, which is the degree of influence of the mediating role of school climate in students on academic resilience and school-related hardiness. There is also a significant relationship between the variables of academic goal setting in school-related hardiness and the mediation of school climate in students. The path coefficient was 0.296, which is the degree of influence of the mediating role of school climate in students on academic goal setting and school-related hardiness
